THE FINAL MORNING

Having to be patient and wait for Kamela’s arrival back to the castle was one of the hardest thing for me to do. I wanted to just change into my wolf and then run to where she was. Last night, I almost did that very thing when I let my wolf out to expend some energy. Yet, I knew that I had to be patient and not mess things up again by letting my head rule where my heart should.

My people had just told me that the limo was pulling up to the front door. My hope is that my choice to meet her in the Queen’s chamber would be a good one. So I sat waiting for her to enter back into my life, my heart, and my kingdom. My mate was home and my wolf was excited.

While sitting and waiting in the Queen’s chamber, I took a look around because this was the first time I had been in it since my mother moved out. It was still grand and beautifully decorated in hues of a soft greens and deep purples. My mother has always been a very stylish woman and my hope is that Kamela would find it fitting to. If she didn’t, I’m sure that she will shape the room to fit her needs.

As the door opened, I could see her walking into the room with surprise on her face. She hadn’t seen me yet, so I continued to sit there quietly. Her beauty seemed to be glowing. Wait, I know that glow and my wolf excitedly jumped around because that glow could mean only one thing ….

Kamela

I knew it was too good to be true that Josh would meet me at the front door. Just as I thought, all he wants is a booty call. I knew that was all he wanted because they lead me to a bedroom instead his office to meet.Well, he was going to be in for a big surprise.

Hmm … Wait, something was different. Now, that I think about it, this is a totally different area of the castle than where I was before. Ugh! Josh where are you? Ahhh… that chair looks comfortable, so I will take a seat and rest a while until Josh gets here.

When I stood before the chair, there was a flutter in my stomach and I realized only one person could cause that, Josh. If I hadn’t been so tired, I would have noticed him when I first came into the room.

Before I turned around to sit down, I said, “hello Josh, let’s get this over with so that I can leave. I’m tired and I need rest. This was a long journey and I just want to get home so that I can live my life again.”

Rushing over to me, Josh fell on his knees and said, “baby, I’ve missed you and I apologize for all that I said to you before you left. Please forgive me and let me back into your life.
